The Stripe Gait Belts are made of high quality 100% natural cotton with red and blue accents, which makes them comfortable for the user. To use, simply wrap the belt around the user's waist, positioning the raised buckle seam on the outside in front. Push the metal tip of the belt through the buckle, placing it over the metal buckle teeth, and through the other side of buckle. Adjust the belt tight enough that it will not slip, yet comfortable for the user, and tuck the excess length under the strap. Caregivers assisting users in transferring from a bed to chair, chair to chair, or chair to car, repositioning or supporting users during ambulation will find the belt helpful for preventing back injuries.
