Questions and Answers
The
Wonder-Flo Cup
has a tight fitting spouted lid with a rubber stopper that regulates the amount of liquid that is delivered. The caregiver simply presses the rubber stopper to release liquid flow. This 8 oz adapted drinking cup allows a bed bound patient to drink fluids without lifting their head.
For those individuals who are incapable of drawing the liquid out independently, the rubber stopper is used by a caregiver. Upon tilting the cup to the mouth, the caregiver presses the stopper which releases half a teaspoon of liquid. Each time the caregiver presses the stopper, 15 drops to 2 cc’s of liquid is released, depending on pressure on the stopper. The plastic tumbler is designed to slowly drip one drop at a time. If the Wonder-Flo Cup is dropped or turned on its side, it will drip a bit, but will not spill.
For users who are able to draw liquid independently, but cannot raise their heads, liquid is drawn from spout like a straw. When the user stops drawing, the liquid stops flowing, no matter how the cup is tilted.
Note:
The Wonder Flo cup is NOT suitable for thickened fluids.

I bought them for my 88 year old mother, who has a problem swallowing without choking. This has been truly a God send. Can't imagine doing with out them.

Sip cup
I did not buy and try this product, but having been a nursing home, home health, and hospice nurse who has worked with bed bound patients, it looksgreat! In the old days, we tried modifying toddler sippy cups. Not easy. This design looks great! It is tiring to change bedding because of spilt drinks.

Mrs.
Bought this cup for my Mom. She has dementia and it is progressing quickly. She can use this cup by herself and she doesn't spill any liquid at all. You can warm up a drink in the microwave also. I think it is great!

Texas Daughter
My mother is bed bound and has been having a lot of trouble with her drinks. This cup has been a lifesaver and she loves it. I am so pleased that she can safely get a drink of water safely when she is thirsty. I am so glad that I ordered 2 of them. Great product. She does need help, as always, with filling it, but the ides are happy to help. Great product.
