I was disappointed in the overall size of this mug, I thought it would be bigger and hold more.

This cup, designed for people suffering from ET falls far short. The weight, which is supposed to be its key feature is lighter that the average ceramic coffee mug. There is no advantage, unless you want the lid, in using this cup. The ceramic coffee mug is a much better choice, heaver, easy to hold and keeps the beverage hotter, or colder longer.

Good cup for my mom
We got this cup for my mother who has Parkinson's disease. She was having trouble drinking her coffee and hot cocoa from a ceramic mug because of her tremors. She would spill the coffee on herself. The weighted cup gives her better control and the lid helps her drinking without dribbling.
