The Ventopedic Right Palm Protector creates a soft barrier between fingers and the palm of the right hand. Severe finger contractures can cause sores and ulcers in the palm of the hand. This hand positioning aid protects the palm and supports the fingers in a stroke hand.

The Ventopedic fabric eliminates odors caused by moisture related bacterial growth in a contracted stroke hand. This special fabric features 3-dimensional air flow ventilation which allows heat and moisture to escape and allows skin to stay dry and comfortable. The controlled levels of hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers attract and expel moisture four times faster than regular fabric for effective moisture control inside the hand. The interior structure also relieves pressure and creates soft cushioning support against the skin. The fabric will keep the skin at a regulated temperature which helps to decrease the risk of skin breakdown inside the hand. This latex free fabric can be machine washed and dried.
