Ventopedic Ankle & Heel Protector

So far so good. I have learned you can attach the Ventopedic Ankle & Heel Protector too tight, causing a bruise. Lucky the bruise hasn't turned into a pressure sore. I have only used this product for 2 weeks, so I will have a better evaluation after I've used this product for 3 month. I bought the Ventopedic Ankle & Heel Protector because I've had problems with getting a pressure sore on my ankle bone from sleeping on side, which case the ankle bone laid on the bed mattress, eventually causing a pressure sore. I have confidence your product will solve that problem.

My Father has a wound on his ankle. We bought this heel & ankle protector to protect his ankle when he was sleeping but, the padding on the back of the leg side is so thick and hard that the ankle would be pushed up too high and the wound that we are trying to protect would not be in the hole area. The padding takes up 2/3rds of the area of the hole. I was afraid if I put this on my Dad it would rub on his ankle wound and cause more of a problem. This boot is poorly designed and I asked for my money back. The company was very difficult to deal with in getting the refund. They wanted to charge me a 20% restocking fee even though the product clearly does not perform as promised and they would not send me a prepaid return label so I could return this defective product at no charge to me. If I could give this product no stars I would.
