The Adjustable D-Ring Utensil Holder is an easy to clean polypropylene webbing hand strap with a utensil pocket. The hand strap adjusts with a hook-and-loop closure with "D" ring thumb loop. This utensil holder is designed to slip comfortably on and off the user's hand for increased independence when dining.

This adjustable eating utensil holder has a sewn in utensil pocket that holds and positions a standard handle fork or spoon. The utensil holder is ideal for persons with limited hand function.

To determine the size Utensil Holder needed, measure the hand across top of knuckles.

Utensil Holder Specifications:

Small/Medium Beige: Fits 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 inches.
Large/XLarge Navy: Fits 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 inches.

Utensil Holder

Item was just what I was looking for, however, it was to big for me so I had to have it made smaller. If you could have a small, medium and large I think that would be better.

Adjustable D-Ring Utensil Holder

This item was purchased to aid an individual with ALS. We found that it worked exactly as advertised. The patient could easily hold utensils without dropping them. However, because the muscles in the wrist had stiffened significantly we will need to find modified cutlery to improve ability eat without assistance. I have seen similar products at 4 times the price but can't imagine they would work any better. I would recommend this product.

This is a good idea for someone who can't grasp utensils anymore. The only problem I have is that the sleeve that you put the utensil into won't fit very wide handles.

This item is exactly what I needed for a patient who has poor grasp. The small fit well for an adult! The patient uses the strap to keep Larger Good Grip Utensils in the palmer surface of hand. Very good product with high quality Velcro!!

A: The D-Ring Utensil Holder is adjustable with velcro. We also carry several different utensil holders. Browe the: In the Kitchen > Adapted Eating Utensils > Eating Utensil Holders section to see if there is another product that may suite you better. We have some that have a loop that goes over the hand or some that "clip" over the hand in additional to a few other adjustable straps.
