Item was just what I was looking for, however, it was to big for me so I had to have it made smaller. If you could have a small, medium and large I think that would be better.

Adjustable D-Ring Utensil Holder
This item was purchased to aid an individual with ALS. We found that it worked exactly as advertised. The patient could easily hold utensils without dropping them. However, because the muscles in the wrist had stiffened significantly we will need to find modified cutlery to improve ability eat without assistance. I have seen similar products at 4 times the price but can't imagine they would work any better. I would recommend this product.

This is a good idea for someone who can't grasp utensils anymore. The only problem I have is that the sleeve that you put the utensil into won't fit very wide handles.

Only works with plastic utensils
My husband had 2 strokes and has trouble holding his eating utensils. This product doesn't help him. It is too narrow for some of my silverware and if I can insert it, it is too short. It doesn't stabilize my husband's hand as I had hoped. He does better with the foam type utensil holder that you insert your silverware into.
