The
Third Arm Hands Free Cup Holder
is very useful for someone who is wheelchair-bound or bedridden, for it holds cups and accessories for easy reach. Caregivers will find that this flexible arm can be attached to a variety of items, allowing users easy access to beverages and other items.
Third Arm has been proven to be irreplaceable when it comes to hydration for people with mobility limitations. Parkinson's disease sufferers themselves can move the flexible arm cup holder toward them and drink without anyone else holding it. The mounting arm locks in position and can be bent a full 360 degrees in any direction so that the cup holder is placed in the best position for the user.
The holder attaches easily to a wheel chair, bed rail, nightstand, desk, and many other items. The cup holder can be attached to flat, round or square surfaces using the sturdy clamp that opens to 3.5 inches. The holder has an adjustable velcro strap which accommodates a variety of different size cups and bottles. The flexible arm is covered in removable and washable soft velvet fabric cover.

Third Arm Hands Free Cup Holder
- Locking mechanism broke. Plastic. - Not strong enough to hold more than 8 oz. drink, securely without the arm dropping. Wright stuff provided a return authorization, but I'm going to modify it to work better on my wife's hospital bed.

Q:
how much ounces can hold?
Asked by:
antonio
- 9/4/2015
A:
The amount of weight that it can hold really depends on the angle of the arm. The further stretched out the arm, the less weight it can hold. Each joint in the arm acts as a fulcrum, if the weight of the cup, and it's contents, is greater than the resistance in any joint the arm will fall. In general, I would recommend staying around 8 ounces.
