Composed of water insoluble silicone gel, the unique cellular design allow air-flow and provides a high level of cushioning to prevent pressure sores and speed healing. These gel cushions distribute point pressure over a wide area thereby reducing the pressure per square inch, decreasing pressure from bony prominences.

Synergel proprietary silicone polymer was designed to mimic the same physical characteristics as human fat tissue to cushion bones.
