The Step2Bed Bedside Hand Rail and Safety Step has an adjustable height step that is combined with the safety of dual handrails. The non-slip, extra wide step is 18 inches long, 32 inches wide, and has 6 different height adjustments, from 2.5 to 7.5 inches. Caregivers can customize the height of the step for their loved one's specific needs. One one side is a 31 inche high tall hand rail. On the other side is a 22.8 inch high hand rail that angles down at 30 degrees to 12 inches high. The lower side hand rail is designed to allow users to easily lower their legs when getting out of bed and lift their legs when getting into bed. The step does not attach to the bed, so that it can be used on either side of bed. The LED light is motion activated to provide additional lighting for increased safety at night. The steel construction ensures caregivers that users will be safe when using the safety step, and it has been tested to support 1200+ pounds.
