The Stainless Steel Plate Guard helps prevent food from being pushed off the edge of a plate. The guard is secured to a plate with three spring action clips and is easily removed for cleaning.

The Stainless Steel Plate Guard large size plate guard will fit plates with a diameter of 9 to 11 inches. Durable stainless steel is dishwasher safe and electronic welding prevents deep seams for maximum cleanliness. 3 spring-action clips wrap around plate edges to hold the 1.5-inch high guard in place to keep food contained. Love it

I bought this for my son who's a quadriplegic. We like this plate guard because it can fit on different size plates. The one he had previously was given to him by the rehab facility he was in, it was a hard plastic material and when I was putting on a dish it snapped. The stainless steel plate guard is flexible.

I found this plate guard useless, unlike the two other plastic plate guards I also purchased. It will not stay on the plate, but rather pops off. I have tried it on several different plates with no success. I wish it was returnable. :-(

This is so easy to attach and keep on hand and it works great to keep food on the plate when my husband is having problems with shaking.

Might even fit oversized restaurant plates!

This works exactly as advertised; it makes it easier for my husband to feed himself without slopping food all over the table. It cleans up easily, too!

Q: I just purchased the plate guard and it will not stay on the plate. Our plates are 10 1/2 inches in diameter, but the guard pops off when placed on the plate. Can the tabs be adjusted or should I return the item?

A: If it is a large plate you might want to try stretching the guard a little so that it is not squeezing so tight on the plate. Being stainless steel, you can bend the tabs a little as well to try and get them to actually wrap around the lip of the plate instead of just catching it.

A: Yes, the plate guards are used to prevent food from falling over the sides of the plate. It also provides additional surface to push food against to place onto the utensil.
