The Safe-T-Mate Personal Safety Alarm alerts caregivers when a loved one who is at risk for falling attempts to exit a bed or chair. The alarm sounds when the cord is removed from the unit.

Safe-T-Mate Personal Safety Alarm is a simple and reliable switching mechanism that uses a surface mounted magnet which releases in any direction. The user friendly unit features a low battery warning LED and low power consumption circuitry for extended battery life, an integrated upholstery clip and a 95 db pulsing horn. A soft silicone jacket provides protection from dropping. A custom stainless steel clip attaches the unit to a bed or wheelchair, and an adjustable cord clips to the users clothing. When the cord pulls away from the unit the alarm alerts a caregiver. Alarm box does not have an on/off switch. The alarm will sound at the moment the magnet is pulled away from the metal face plate and can only be silenced by re-applying the magnet. The cord assembly is adjustable from 18 - 32 inches for bed or wheelchair use. The unit is powered by a 9V battery which is included. Replacement magnet and cord assemblies are also available.
