Right Hand Scoop Spoon

The Right Hand Scoop Spoon is a flexible plastic spoon positioned at a fixed angle. Hold the spoon in your right hand, and by using a simple elbow motion, you can scoop food onto the flat bottom spoon. This adapted spoon helps minimize the movements of the shoulder and forearm. The raised back of the spoon prevents food from spilling off. The built up handle measures 4 1/2 inches long, 1 inch diameter, and has 3 rings for finger positioning. Top shelf dishwasher safe.

Fixed angle spoons are helpful for people who have limited or painful movement of their upper extremities. This built up handle spoon is a right hand spoon. The patented design was developed in cooperation with the Knapp Rehabilitation Center, Cynthia Johnson, OTR; and John Casiday.
