Stander's Recliner Risers help raise the seat height of a recliner. Four bases lift the recliner 3 to 4 inches, providing more leverage for standing.

The typical recliner tilts forward when the person stands. The arms and seat drop forward by 3 or 4 inches. When Recliner Risers are installed, the chair is raised 1-3/4 inches, and forward tilt is also limited, allowing an additional 3 to 4 inches of lift. The 4 to 6 total inches of extra support allows a person with weakness to stand with little or no assistance.

Stander's Recliner Risers attach quickly and easily to the wooden base of a recliner without limiting rocking or reclining motions. The patented design raises the seat height by 4 to 6 inches while only raising your chair by 1-3/4 inches.

My mother-in-law was having difficulty in rising out of her recliner due to severe arthritis in her knees. These risers have certainly helped in making that a little less effortful. They are easy to install and quite sturdy. In the end, I paired these risers with this company's "EZ Stand-and-Go Stander" which provided even more assistance. The combination of these two excellent products has really been a boon to getting her out of her chair more often.

Q: I am having knee replacements. I have been told the chair needs to be 18-20 inches. My recliner is a lazy boy that sits 16 inches from the floor. Will this desired lift the car to the required height. Also in ordering is the price for one or one for each leg.
