The HealthCraft PT Rail Toilet Grab Bar is designed for use beside a toilet and has a wide mounting bracket that provides extra stability. The innovative offset rail is hinged and can be folded up out of the way when not in use. The friction hinge ensures that the handle will not inadvertently drop down when it is in the up position. The rail holds its position, even when halfway up, which means it won’t fall down unexpectedly. Unlike other bathroom safety rails, the rail is designed with an innovative offset rail to avoid wrist strain when users are sitting down or pulling up from a seated position. The rail measures 1.5 inches in diameter, is ADA compliant, and exceeds ADA 4.26.3 structural strength requirements for grab bars and fasteners of 250 pounds.

The maximum user weight for this product is 400 pounds. This safety rail can be installed with appropriate fasteners to a structural wall. In cases where wall fastening is not an option, a Floor Mast is also available. The Floor Mast is installed with appropriate fasteners to a structural floor. The PT Rail is height adjustable on the Floor Mast. This ergonomic safety rail is available in 28 and 32 inch lengths, is durable powder coat white (over carbon steel), or rust-resistant stainless steel.
