FabLife Regulated Drinking Cup

The FabLife Regulated Drinking Cup is a limited delivery cup that was developed with input from hundreds of Speech-Language Pathologists & Occupational Therapists. This adapted drinking cup encourages normal drinking habits and small swallows. This cup may be used by therapists to help eliminate the need for pre-thickened liquids in some patients with dysphagia.

When the FabLife Regulated Drinking Cup is tipped in a normal drinking motion, a fixed 5 cc or 10cc amount of liquid is delivered. By returning the cup to its upright position, the chamber is refilled and ready to deliver another 5 cc or 10 cc.

The FabLife Regulated Drinking Cup cup patented anti-suck mechanism prevents over-delivery of fluids. The outer cup is transparent, which allows monitoring of the liquid level. Two handles are included, and the cup can be assembled with both handles, one handle, or without the handles. The lid of the cup has an opening for nose clearance, which helps to minimize head tilt.
