Q:It doesn't say if they are light weight or heavy weight? My daughter-in-law has ALS and needs light weight utensils.

A: Weight: Knife 3 ounces, Fork 2 ounces, Spoon 2.5 ounces. Typically, the weighted utensils are close to 1/2 lb (0.45) and the un-weighted utensils around 1/4 lb (0.25).

Q:Are these utensils pediatric size? I am need of utensils for a kindergarten student.

A: The Gripables 3-piece Cutlery Set are designed for ages 3 and up but the shaft does not bend. There are a few smaller utensils that are bend but are all plastic and cannot be bent straight. Search the "Adaptive Eating Utensil" section to see if there is something better suited for your needs.

A: The Good Grip Utensils are sold individually at $12.95, there is a discount if purchasing multiple. 3 or more the price goes to $11.95 or you can purchase the set of 5 for $56.95, which includes the rocker knife, fork, tablespoon, teaspoon, and small spoon.
