Posey Torso Elevation Wedges - Discontinued

The Posey Torso Elevation Wedges are large positioning wedges filled with polystyrene beads that are easier to shape and position than regular pillows or foam wedges. Caregivers will find these positioning wedges provide comfortable support to elevate the head and shoulders.

Posey Torso Elevation Wedges maintain their shape and position for uniform elevation, better than stacking lumpy pillows. The wedges have soft vinyl covers that breathe and will not retain heat like regular foam pillows or wedges. Clients using alternating pressure mattresses will find these positioning wedges do not slip like foam products. The Posey Torso Elevation Wedge Standard size measures 18 inches wide, 18 inches long, 13 inches high and provides 35° or 55° of elevation. The Posey Torso Elevation Wedge Large size measures 27 inches long, 22 inches wide, 18 inches high and provides 30° or 60° of elevation. The wedges have a zippered closure for adding or removing beads for customizing patient comfort. (Replacement beads available by special order.)
