Posey Heel Pillows - Discontinued

Posey Heel Pillows provide effective protection against skin breakdown for the heels, ankles, and feet. These extremely comfortable heel protection pillows help caregivers prevent skin irritation and painful pressure sores.

Posey Heel Pillows are filled with polyester fiber and covered with soft cotton fabric. The padded strap with hook and loop fasteners allows caregivers to quickly and easily apply the pillows, and adjust them as needed. The padded strap provides additional protection from pressure. Soft cotton fabric is filled with hollow-core microfibers for cloud-like comfort. The regular size measures 10 inches long, and 9 inches high. The Posey Heel Pillows are machine washable and recommended for clients at risk for skin breakdown and the formation of pressure sores.

Please note, that the manufacturer recommends following policies and guidelines for frequency of patient monitoring. Posey recommends that this product be removed at least every two (2) hours to check for skin integrity, proper circulation, and range of motion. DO NOT allow the user to walk or ambulate while wearing this product.
