love, Love, LOVE this belt!
This is the perfect gait belt for my situation which is allowing my 98 year old father to be as independent as possible yet giving me control to keep him safe! I can hold him steady and balance him but he can proudly pull up is own pants. The padding is super for anyone that bruises easily due to medications and the handles/grips are varied and placed at just the proper spots!

Posey Deluxe Transfer Belt
Purchased this belt to help transfer my frail, elderly father from his wheelchair to the car and back. Belt is also helpful in holding him steady whilst using his walker. Belt is durable and well-made, with several handles for holding from different angles. I bought the quick release buckle belt, which makes putting on/taking off easy. Pinched my finger closing it the first time but that won't be happening again. :)

Excellent quality
Very effective for larger patients, and provides big advantage for contact guard assist x 2 (each lateral side support with ambulation.

The Posey Deluxe Transfer Belts do include a fleece like inner lining for some padding. However, if padding is a major concern you might want to look at our Safety Sure Sherpa Lined Transfer Belts.

Does this come in different waist sizes? I couldn't quite see how the buckle fastens. Is there an advantage to the quick release buckle? How many handles are there?

A:
The Posey Deluxe Transfer and Walking Belts fit waist sizes 30- 66 inches. The quick release buckle just allows you to get the belt off quickly instead of having to pull the strap back through the buckle. Both the metal buckle and quick release belts have 7 handles.
