The Akton Polymer Pilot Flotation Pad is recommended for use on manual and power wheelchairs, truck or taxi seats, or for other uses requiring significantly reduced high-pressure areas. The low profile of this multi-use gel pad cushion allows manual wheelchair users to effectively reach the floor for more efficient foot-assisted propulsion. The gel pad can be used on top of pre-contoured foam or rigid cushions and conforms to the surface to maximize stability and positioning when needed.

The Akton Polymer Pilot Flotation Pad includes the Basic Cover. The Basic Cover is a soft black cover made of a pontae fabric, a durable stretch knit material and has a non skid bottom. The cover zippered on 3 sides, removable and washable.
