PF Bath Safety Products, LLC designed and manufactures the TubTight Dry Floor Locking Transfer Bench.
TubTight's designer, Paul Ferrazzani, while working for over 30 years as a self-employed handyman, developed the TubTight bath transfer bench out of a need for a long-time customer who found water spilling onto his bathroom floor during every shower. The traditional bath transfer bench he had purchased was preventing the shower curtain from being fully closed, thereby causing the leakage. After assessing the cause of the problem, the design for the TubTight, dry-floor, locking transfer bench was created.
Finding that the design was unique to the available DME bath safety equipment, a patent application was filed with the USPTO. After 3 full years of waiting on the USPTO, the decision to grant a patent was issued. Now this high quality, certified structurally-sound bath bench is available for purchase. For those with mobility issues or who have difficulties transferring in and out of the bathtub, the TubTight bench provides a secure starting and finishing point for the user.
