This modified winter poncho provides full body coverage from rain and is easier to put on and take off than an average winter rain coat.

The Wheelchair Winter Poncho features a water-repellent, ultra-durable Supplex shell with a full lining of super soft and warm poly shearling. The over sized hood and zippered front make this poncho very easy to slip on and off for people who utilize wheelchairs, or scooters. The back is shorter to prevent the poncho from becoming entangled in the wheelchair wheels. The front is longer to cover the wearer’s legs, and the sherpa lining provides additional warmth for people with limited mobility.

Wonderful product. I'm so glad I ordered this. I'm active in community - going out to eat, movies, shopping, etc. so having waterproof shell means alot. I've come home being soaked and so chilled. If I had anything to add, it'd be having it's own storage sack that would allow me to hang from hook on back of chair. I thought the hood would be too big or flimsy and it's not. So glad I ordered it. It's a great combo with the chaps to keep dry and cut wind. Thinking of future, maybe it could use a snap in or zipper to the liner one wouldnt need to order another for summer or warmer climates during travels. Just a thought. But I'm happy to have it.
