Are you a caregiver providing in home care to a patient with dementia, memory loss, or low vision who loves to play card games? The Mind-Start Numbers and Suits Cards is a simplified playing card game designed by an Occupational Therapist especially for people with memory loss, or dementia. Each playing card has only a large suit icon or a large number on it. This adapted card game is designed for people who like numbers, or enjoy sorting and playing cards.

These jumbo sized playing cards measure 3.5 inches wide and 5 inches long, for easier handling and viewing. Each deck of cards includes 36 number cards (4 cards each of numbers 1-9), 16 suit cards (4 cards each of Club, Spade, Diamond, and Heart) and 3 instruction cards. More than ten game playing ideas for both higher and lower functioning level players are also included.
