To ensure a proper fit, measure the base of the recliner by tipping the chair forward to expose a metal frame, wood rails, or a round platform. Placing the platform under the chair raises the chair 3 inches to make standing and sitting easier. The platform has a 1/2 inch high-security lip around the top edge, and rubber pads installed in each corner for increased safety to prevent the chair from moving or sliding.
