The Little Boost Platform serves as a riser for a recliner; an alternative to a lift chair; a mobility aid; and an affordable product to assist in the sit to stand movement that affects so many individuals. Caregivers will find this stable platform helpful for people who have difficulty standing from their favorite recliner chair.

The Little Boost Platform fits recliners with either a rectangular base up to 27 x 27 inches, or a round base with a diameter up to 27 inches. To ensure a proper fit, measure the base of the recliner by tipping the chair forward to expose a metal frame, wood rails, or a round platform. Placing the platform under the chair raises the chair 3 inches to make standing and sitting easier. The platform has a 1/2 inch high security lip around the top edge, and rubber pads installed in each corner for increased safety to prevent the chair from moving or sliding. The Platform requires no assembly and there are no moving parts.

My Mom loves it!

I bought the Little Boost Platform for my mom who is 91 years old. She had broken her hip and enjoys her Lazy Boy recliner but it was very hard to get out of it. The platform arrived and I was able to set it up and move the recliner on to it. She is now able to move from the recliner to her wheelchair with better ease and safety.

Product works very well for me. I only have one problem and it is that I can't get my feet to touch the ground when I sit in it due to my short inseam. I move my body forward in the chair to get my feet to touch the ground and then stand up and this works very well for me.

Great product

The Little Boost Platform is sturdy and light weight. It made a world of difference for my husband to get out of his recliner. He has to use a walker to get around and getting up out of his recliner wasn't easy. By purchasing this product we saved thousands by not having to purchase a remote lift recliner. I did need to put two throw rugs under it because of our laminate flooring but that helped save the floors and secure the platform. It would be great if it also came in a dark brown.

This platform is exactly what I needed. I am 89 and loved my recliner but I had a hard time getting out of the chair to a standing position. I can now do it easily.

Q: Will this platform slip around on laminate flooring?

A: It is not recommended the Little Boost Platform be put on smooth floors like time or laminate, But putting a non-slip area rug under the platform would solve that issue.

A: The weight capacity is 500 pounds. It isn't recommended platforms are stacked for safety.
