Leg Wrap Positioning Aid

The Leg Wrap Positioning Aid is a leg lifting aid with handles that wraps securely around the user's leg. This leg lifter eliminates the need for caregivers to grab clothing when moving and positioning the user's weak or casted leg.

The Leg Wrap Positioning Aid attaches to the user in 3 places to allow the user to easily position the leg when transferring to or from a bed, chair, sofa, wheelchair, or toilet seat. The adjustable closures securely attach the lifter to provide controlled movement, reducing injury caused by dropping the legs. For paraplegics, physically lifting the leg requires significant upper body strength. And for many, especially those with upper extremity weakness and without someone to assist them, this can be a tremendous challenge. This positioning aid provides an easier, safer way for people with little or no use of their legs to reposition and shift weight. The Leg Wrap Positioning Aid measures 33 inches long. The closures have a maximum circumference of 11-1/2 inches for the ankle, 18-1/2 inches for the knee, 24-1/2 inches for the thigh positions. The loops can be made smaller, but not larger than these sizes.
