The In Bed Head Wash System is a double-walled, durable plastic unit with a contoured neck rest for comfort. The basin holds 2 gallons of water and has an internal used water gathering system. Before using, the drain should be opened and the spout loosened for ventilation. The caregiver then positions the user’s head, neck and shoulders on the neck support and shampoos and rinses their hair. After making sure all the water has drained into the unit, the drain and drain spout are closed, securing the basin for transport. To empty the used water from the basin, stand it upright, loosen the basin drain, and open the drain spout to empty the water into a sink.
