The GripWare Scooper Plate is an 8 inch round plastic plate with a raised, curved edge. The contoured rim allows the user to easily trap food and push it onto their eating utensil. Caregivers will find this adapted dinner plate is helpful for persons with limited hand coordination or the use of one hand.

The GripWare Scooper Plate is molded out of white, heat resistant plastic that is dishwasher safe. The bottom of the plate has round, non-skid, textured rubber feet that grip table top surfaces and prevent the plate from sliding. People with limited hand coordination due to a stroke, Parkinsons, or other disease often experience difficulty when dining. Caregivers will find this non-skid scoop plate promotes eating independence and helps prevent spills. The GripWare Scooper Plate adapted dining plate with non-slip feet helps make scooping food easier.

Scooper plate

My daughter uses these plates exclusively and has for years. They are microwaveable for warmup and stay put on the table. They are dishwasher safe and resilient to being dropped on porcelain tile. She uses a curved adaptive spoon and is successful with independent eating in 90 % of situations. We now own six of these and will purchase more when these wear out.

I was disappointed in the size of this plate, it is more like a desert size plate than a dinner/lunch plate.

Scooper plate

The plate is of good quality plastic, washes well, sofar it doesn't stain and has small grippers on the bottom that help keep it from sliding around. It certainly meets and exceeds our requirements.

scoop plate

We are perfectly satisfied with this plate. It was just what my son needed to help him eat independently. It looks good and holds up nicely to washing. It also has grips on the bottom that help to keep the plate in place
