The Freedom Wand Personal Hygiene Aid Master Kit is a multipurpose, hygiene and personal toilet tissue aid. This sanitary, easy to use hygiene aid was specifically designed for personal cleaning and hygiene for anyone with limited mobility.

The Freedom Wand Personal Hygiene Aid Master Kit includes three pieces: the handle, the extension and the head. The Freedom Wand handle and head can be used together for a total of 14 inches in length, or add the extension for 21 inches long.

The Head: The head of the Freedom Wand is 9 inches long and has a slight curve to it to allow for proper reach. The head has four "fingers" that extend out of the wand with the slide of a button. As they extend, they open to hold a shaver, sponge, ointment pad, tissue wad or other personal hygiene item. By sliding the button back, the fingers go back into the wand, securing it in place and giving a tight grip, strength and a smooth end. To release an item, just push and slide the button.

The Extension: The Freedom Wand Extension is a 6 1/2 inch long piece. When combined with the head and the handle, the wand becomes 21 inches long. If a shorter wand is desired, the head and the handle can be put together without the extension for a length of 14 inches. Both the extension and the handle have quick and easy release buttons.

The Handle: The Freedom Wand Handle is approximately 8 inches long. It is contoured for ease in holding and has a soft secure grip to eliminate slipping. It also has a loop on the end so that you can hang it in a convenient spot.

Freedom Wand needs better gripping

We are using the Freedom Wand for bathroom assist due to our size.. It is great for carrying in my purse because its compact enough. However the wand grabber doesn't allow for the paper to hold very well and the way it is shaped, the sides of the wand gets dirty because there is no paper on it. To fix this we carry the flushable wet wipes and hand sanitizer to clean it before putting it away. Wish there was a way to wrap TPaper around the sides better

Excellet tool for large people

Reaching to clean myself became a problem when I became overweight. I would struggle and get out of breath. I invented a contraption that helped but knew I needed a more permanent solution. I found the "FREEDOM WAND" and immediately ordered it. I thought it was a little expensive at first but after using it and realizing that it totally solved my problem and was easily portable and discreet. I was overjoyed with it.

not for me

It can only hold small amounts associated of tp, if you try to use what I think is enough it won't work. I have had it a week and its separating at the joints. If your bum is small or belongs to a petite person it may be ok. The price is high.

Desperate

This was a life saver for me. I was pretty much confined close to home in fear of needing to use the restroom while I was out. My disability prevents me from being able to reach that private area and the long "tongs" I used at home were not practical for carrying in my purse. This product gives me the privacy of a tool I can discreetly put in my purse and serves my purpose perfectly!

My daughter purchased this product for me when it became difficult for me to wipe due to a shoulder problem. It took some time to figure out how to fold the paper for my best use, but when I did I became a fan! I have used it to put cotton ball in and apply cream on my back. It even holds a Prep H wipe for better cleaning. I highly recommend. Just be patient and learn ways to use it.
