The Freedom Staff Handicap Driving Thumb Control Hand Controls are adaptive driving controls that help improve driving safety and independence for those who have difficulty using their legs to control the gas and brake pedals of a car.

The design of the Freedom Staff Handicap Driving Thumb Control Hand Controls allows users to steer with one hand while controlling the gas and brake pedals with their other hand. The brake pedal is operated by pressing or releasing the thumb control and the gas pedal by gently moving the lever. The controls attach to almost any car with an automatic transmission. They are easy to install using the included strap which slides over the steering column for stability. These driving controls are also portable and easy to transport, weighing less than 4 pounds and measuring only 14 inches long once folded.

Just as the video indicated, it was easy to install. The hand brake could use an extra hole near the top. The accelerator handle could use holes half way between the ones drilled, maybe on the other side of the tube. I have a 2011 F-150, and it just needs some special adjustments to make it work well. I use the palm of my hand to apply the gas. But I've pinched my fingers on the ring, while holding the assembly.
