The EZACCESS TRANSITIONS 1-1/2 inch Angled Entry Mat is lightweight, requires no installation, and can be easily moved to another location or doorway. This portable rubber ramp can be customized to fit a variety of doorway sizes. Simply trim the width edges, or cut the ramp using the grooves on the bottom for lower height requirements. The ramp measures 1-1/2 inches high, is made from 100% recycled tires, and provides a safe and smooth transition through doorways and raised landings. Q: The description for this mat says it can be trimmed to any width and move from one doorway to another, yet the installation instructions say you need to attach it with screws. Additionally the installation says it cannot be cut to a lesser width. So which is correct?? I need something that is 30 inches wide and can be used in two different doorways. I also need something that slopes on the inside of threshold as well as outside. Would two of these work?

A: Thanks for your question. The mat has beveled edges. Trimming the edges will remove the beveled edges. Yes, 2 of these would work. The manufacturer does recommend attaching the mat with screws for added stability. The mat is heavy and may stay in place and not slip - depending on the surface.
