The Evo OT Ware Utensil Set incorporates a large, textured, and ergonomically shaped handle for easy grasping. This adapted eating utensil set includes an angled spoon, angled fork and an ergonomic knife that are designed for maximizing hand function for dining independence.

The Evo OT Ware Utensil Set was designed by Occupational Therapists. The fork and spoon are permanently angled for ease of use for people suffering from various dexterity issues who have difficulty holding standard eating utensils. The unique interior axis of the handle helps to correctly align the hand. Caregivers will find these utensils provide a variety of grasping positions. Caregivers will find the Evo OT Ware utensils helpful for promoting self-feeding for their loved ones.

The Evo OT Ware Utensil Set adapted eating utensils are made of Tritan material that is latex, phthalate and BPA free, and dishwasher safe. The bright ceramic red color also helps patients who suffer from Alzheimer's, encouraging food intake.

My mom had advanced dementia and is having trouble using utensils. The first time she used these she was able to get more food onto the spoon and into her mouth than she can with regular utensils. Wish I'd gotten them sooner.

Bought them for my husband who has PD. He was hesitant at first, but now uses them with no problems.

Good for Parkinson's Patients

I ordered these for my father who has advanced Parkinson's and it really does help him. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone with Parkinson's Disease.

Q: Are they items suitable for a child 2.5 years old?

A: The Evo OT Ware Utensils are 6 inches long which may be to large for a 2 year old, however the Easi Eaters with Shields (Product #:AMS102) are 3 inches long. The shorter utensils may do better with that age.

Q: Do you have this in left hand? I have a friend who had a stroke and can't use his right side now. If not, do you have a suggestion for left hand users?

A: The Evo OT Ware Utensil Set is for right hand use. The Easie Eaters Angled Utensils (Product #: AMS100) are available in a set for left hand or right hand.
