Patriot Economy Gait Belts are designed to help caregivers provide assistance for people who have difficulty transferring, walking, or standing. These durable, 2 inch wide cotton belts with metal buckles are often used by Physical Therapists to help transfer cooperative users who have some weight-bearing capacity.

The Patriot Economy Gait Belts are made of high quality 100% natural cotton with bold red, white, blue stripes. This color scheme design is exclusively designed and copyrighted. Caregivers will find these gait and transfer belts are easy to use. Wrap the belt around the user's waist, position the raised buckle seam on the outside in front. Next, push the metal tip through the buckle, placing it over the metal buckle teeth, and through the other side of buckle. Caregivers should secure the belt tight enough that it will not slip, yet comfortable for the user. Any excess length can be tucked under the strap. Caregivers providing mobility assistance will find these belts are also helpful for preventing back injuries. The Patriot Economy Gait Belts are available in 48, 54, 60 and 72 inch lengths. Smaller 32, 36, 40 and 44 inch lengths and quick release buckles are also available.
