Drop Support Body Support Harness

The Drop Support Body Support Harness is a unique, upper body support mobility safety aid that wraps securely around the waist, chest and torso, with an attached central handle. Caregivers for users who are at a high risk for falls due to epilepsy, seizures, during gait training and rehabilitation, or any condition when support is needed will find this adapted harness helpful for preventing falls.

The Drop Support Harness features a vertical support handle located on the back that runs the length of the torso instead of horizontal like a standard gait belt. This provides the caregiver a better way for supporting users who are at high risk for falls when walking. The vertical support handle, added support straps over the shoulders and chest area also allow the assistant to better manage and stop forward falls.

The Drop Support Harness is available in 3 sizes: Large, Medium, or Small. To determine size, measure the length of the torso from the C7 Vertebrae to the natural waistline. The Large Drop Support Harness is designed to fit adults who have a longer torso length of 18 or more inches long, and expands up to 48 inch waist or 2XL. Medium Drop Support Harness fits users who have an average torso length of 13 to 17 inches long, expands up to 48 inch waist. Small Drop Support Harness fits users who have a shorter torso length of 9 to 12 inches long, expands up 30 inch waist.
