The
Bench Buddy Hookless Shower Curtain Simplicity
is designed to work with a variety of tub transfer benches to keep water off the bathroom floor. A tub transfer bench is a helpful item for bathing independently, but a regular shower curtain will not keep water from escaping around the bench. This adapted shower curtain was invented and patented by an Occupational Therapist with a slit that can be tucked in the transfer bench to keep water inside the tub.
The BenchBuddy™ is easily installed as it uses patented Hookless® rings. The shower rod does not have to be removed when hanging the curtain, and there is no need to purchase expensive hooks. The weighted magnets at the bottom of the curtain help to secure the flaps to the inside of tub. This adapted shower curtain is made of water repellent, 100% polyester plain weave fabric that resists soap scum build-up. The manufacturer recommends daily shaking off excess water and letting the curtain hang freely for air drying. The Bench Buddy Hookless Shower Curtain Simplicity is available in white or beige.

Bench Buddy Hookless Shower curtain Simplicity
This works great with my bench for the shower. It keeps the water from getting on the floor and is easy to slide. It is easy to dry, I just pull it full again and leave the ceiling fan on awhile and it is dry!

Does not work well for me. I bought this based on reviews. I think it would work with a smaller tub; it is too short and not full enough for my tub. I am disappointed.

Bench Shower Curtain
I like the curtain, but am still getting water on the floor outside of the tub. I use it as directed and put a towel on the floor to catch the water. I am not all the thrilled with it but, I am going to continue using it. As long as I can put a towel on the floor to catch the water that works for me.

This curtain is shown being used with a bathtub. If it is used in a shower stall by someone not using the transfer bench, will it keep water within the shower stall, or will the slits cause it to leak water onto bathroom floor?

A:
The curtain may not be as effective in a shower that is not equipped with a transfer bench because that is what is designed for. There are magnetic weights sewn in the bottom seam to prevent billowing but we can't promise water won't get through the slits.

You can but there is no need to, the curtain is designed to not have to take the shower pole down to get the curtain on. There is a short video under the product picture demonstrating how the curtain is easily hung.
