Care givers will find this 100% smooth Akton polymer pad can be cut to provide protection from pressure in a variety of applications, and helpful for preventing bed sores.

The Akton Polymer will not leak, flow, or bottom out, and is tissue equivalent. It moves with user, not against them, to reduce pressure and shear, the two leading causes of pressure sores. The Akton Polymer Adaptive Flat Pad will not support microbiological growth, won't absorb body fluids or odors and can be cleaned with standard disinfectant. This 1/4 inch pad can be used as a cushion for comfort only, not medical intervention. Cover option does not apply for the 1/4 inch Akton Polymer Pad.
