Akton Polymer Adaptive Flat Pad 1/2 inch

The Akton Polymer Adaptive Flat Pads 1/2 inch are gel pads made of 100% smooth Akton Polymer. Caregivers will find these 1/4 inch thick gel pads can be used for multiple applications for providing increased comfort and pressure relief. Adaptive Pads can be cut and used for spot protection on arm pads, foot plates, head rests, leg rests, splints or braces.

The Akton Polymer Adaptive Pads 1/2 inch is ideal for use as a cushion for comfort, not medical intervention. Akton polymer will not leak, flow, or bottom out. The gel pad is tissue equivalent, designed to move with user, not against them, to reduce pressure and shear, the two leading causes of pressure sores. The gel pads are easy to clean with standard disinfectant, will not support microbiological growth, and will not absorb body fluids or odors.

Please note: If the Akton Polymer Adaptive Pads 1/2 inch is used for a seating cushion, the pad must be used with an Action brand cover for warranty to be in force.

Akton Polymer Adaptive Pads are available in 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch, and 5/8 inch thicknesses.
