The Ableware Scooper Dish has a contoured lip that can be used to push food onto utensils without it spilling out of the dish. The non-skid foam base helps to prevent the adapted dish from moving or sliding.

The Scooper dish is a combination of a plate and a bowl, and is designed to assist people who have difficulty scooping their food, or the use of only one hand. The dish measures 6 inches wide, 7 1/2 inches long and 1 3/4 inches deep on the highest side. The Ableware Scooper Dish is not recommended for the microwave oven or dishwasher.

I bought this for my father who has macular degeneration and glaucoma. His vision is very poor so he was having trouble keeping food on his plate and also getting food onto his utensils. This scooper dish has really helped him.

scooper dish

this was not what the therapist said it would be, but it has proven to be very useful. It was nice to be able to eat a dish of ice cream without the worry of spelling it. The nonskid base is extremely useful.

Grandma

This product is great for my challenged grandson. The non-slip base however came with a peel-off sticker that would not peel. I ended up supergluing it to the bottem so that the dish would not slide around.
