Assists with lip closure.

Rigid Lip Blocks are designed to be placed in the top of the straw to assist with lip closure and to direct fluid into the front of the mouth. These Hard Lip blocks fit into most regular straws and help prevent individuals from biting the straw and/or inserting the straw too far into the mouth. These mouthpieces are used to discourage tongue-thrusting, to promote tongue retraction and to correct overall tongue position. Lip blocks should only be used by a professional therapist or by a caregiver trained in their use. Package of 6 standard 3/4 inch long straw mouthpieces.
